1. Statement of Compliance
Magipik respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. Section 512.
If you believe content on Magipik infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA notice using the process below.
2. How to Submit a DMCA Takedown Notice
To submit a valid takedown notice, send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: DMCA Takedown Notice.
Your notice should include:
- Your full legal name and contact information (email, address, and phone number).
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- The original location (URL) of the copyrighted work, if available.
- The specific URL(s) on Magipik where the allegedly infringing content appears.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.

If required by applicable law in your jurisdiction, Magipik may designate and publish additional agent details.
4. Counter-Notification Procedure
If your content was removed or disabled and you believe it was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to [email protected] with the subject line: DMCA Counter-Notice.
Your counter-notice should include:
- Identification of the removed content and its location before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed due to mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the applicable court and will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original claim (or that person's agent), where required by law.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
5. Processing Timeline
Magipik reviews properly submitted notices as quickly as reasonably possible.
- We generally acknowledge notices within 3-5 business days.
- If a notice is complete and valid, we may remove or disable access to the reported content while we review the claim.
- Counter-notifications are processed according to applicable legal requirements.
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
Magipik may suspend or terminate accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers, in accordance with applicable law and our Terms of Service.
7. Good-Faith Use and Misrepresentation
Submitting false, misleading, or bad-faith notices may result in legal liability. Please consult legal counsel if you are unsure whether specific material infringes your rights.
